Activity overview
The recap page shows tasks completed, cancelled, doing, blocked, in review and due today, plus quick tasks, open questions and recently updated tasks, within your chosen timeframe. Filter by project and timeframe (12h, 24h, 48h, 7 days, or a custom date range).
AI summariesPro
On the Pro and Max plans, generate two types of AI summaries:
A professional email with subject line, structured body, and sign-off. Editable before sending. Can be sent directly to any email address.
A concise DM-style summary. Written in first person, ready to paste into Slack, Teams, or any chat tool.
Summaries incorporate task notes and status changes that happened within the selected timeframe, making them more contextual than a simple task list.
Limit: 10 generations per day. A summary you generated stays on the page for an hour, even after a refresh. An outdated warning appears if task data has changed since the summary was generated.
Deadline notifications
Karea sends in-app toast notifications when tasks approach their deadlines:
Each notification says how much time is actually left (for example "29 minutes left"), and you only get one per stage: once a closer warning has fired, the earlier ones are skipped.
Enable browser push notifications in Settings to also receive alerts when the tab is in the background. More than 3 simultaneous notifications are batched into a single summary.
