Workload Capacity Widget
A pair of chips in the top-right of every project page that tell you, at a glance, whether you're on track to finish what you've committed to - or about to drown. Available on the Pro and Max plans.
What each chip shows
Each widget shows four numbers in the format T4 W18 M42 N5, meaning Today, this Week, this Month, and Next month. Click the chip (or press W for the project chip) to open a breakdown with a progress bar per period.
How each period is counted
Only open / doing / blocked / review tasks that you created or are assigned to count. Closed and cancelled tasks are ignored.
- Today / Week / Month are cumulative - anything still open with a deadline before the end of the period counts, including tasks already overdue. An overdue task shows up under Today, This Week, and This Month at the same time - it's on your plate now, and this week, and this month.
- Next month is a planning horizon - only tasks scheduled specifically for next month count. Overdue tasks don't bleed in.
- Tasks without a deadline are shown separately inside the popover ("+ N tasks without a deadline") and don't count toward any period.
Color coding
"Ignore overdue" and "Ignore blocked" toggles
Inside each popover. With "Ignore overdue" on, tasks whose deadline is already in the past drop out of all cumulative counts - useful when you want to see only what's still reachable on time. "Ignore blocked" does the same for blocked tasks. The toggles are remembered per widget and per project in this browser.
Configuring your thresholds
Go to Settings → Capacity to set your ideal number of active tasks per period. Defaults are day 4, week 20, month 80, next month 80. Both chips (current project and all projects) use the same thresholds.
Tuning tip: start with what you actually finish in a typical day. If the chip is always red even when you feel on top of things, raise the Today number. If it's always green and you're still drowning, lower it.
